Cassidy Deerkoski, MHC-LP
Limited Permit Mental Health Counselor
Cassidy Deerkoski is a Limited Permit Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP) and a graduate of New York University. She is especially passionate about working with children, adolescents, and young adults who are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, or feeling stuck in their lives.
Cassidy’s work centers on helping clients feel safe enough to slow down, make sense of their emotional experiences, and begin creating change at a pace that feels manageable. She offers a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore how past experiences impact the present and develop a stronger sense of self-understanding and compassion.
Her therapeutic approach includes Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). This allows clients to build practical coping skills while also exploring deeper emotional patterns, helping them feel more grounded, resilient, and empowered over time.
Cassidy honors the vulnerability it takes to begin therapy and is committed to creating an environment where clients feel heard, supported, and respected throughout the healing process.
Outside of her work as a therapist, Cassidy enjoys traveling, reading, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
